All pillows are classed by the fill. To keep things simple manufacturers class them into just two categories - pillows with natural fill and pillows with synthetic fill. The first ones can have down or feather fill, although wool fill is also common. Synthetic pillows have man-made materials inside them.
For maximum comfort during sleep and to achieve a premium feel we use responsibly sourced duck feathers and duck down. Our wool pillows have thick but soft and gentle wool fibre that provides more support to all types of sleepers.
Synthetic pillows
Synthetic pillows range includes hollowfibre, Pillowtech ®, memory foam pillows, cooling effect pillows, classic pillows, anti-allergy and other products. There are many reasons why sleepers of all types choose synthetic pillows. Technology that helps with individual needs is the main decision driver.
We don’t recommend the “one size fits all” approach when choosing a pillow, since every customer is different and has individual needs. The best rule of thumb, however, is to start from your sleeping position. For example, side sleepers have different preferences from stomach sleepers. Our pillow ranges are designed to suit all types of sleepers depending on their sleeping pattern.
Back sleepers prefer classic shape pillows, both synthetic and natural, with flexible hardness and gentle neck and spine support.
The most common pillows for side sleepers have flexible hardness, ergonomic shape providing support for your spine while you are asleep.
If you sleep on your front you might want to consider a soft or medium hardness pillow, that keeps your body shape close to your natural straight position.
What pillow is right for me?
Memory foam pillows provide ultimate support as they follow your body shape helping your spine, shoulders and neck to relax.
Pillows with cooling gel are designed to keep your temperature down when you are sleeping. This is very helpful if you are sweating during sleep.
Hollowfibre pillows provide great support and help sleepers with back pain as they are more flexible and have more solid harder fill.
Generally, pillows last for about 18-24 months. Our Pillowtech ® products have a longer lifespan. If you see that your pillow is losing its shape and colour, especially after washing, then it’s probably a good time to look for a new one. Browse through the wide range of products on our website or in-store and choose the right pillow for you.
Whatever your preference, our range of classic and high-tech pillows vary from firm to feathery-soft to support your every need.
